Registering on our Website.To use the Services, and obtain a link to download the FarePilot App (the “App”) you must first register at www.farepilot.com (the “Website”). (Please note: theApp is only available for download and use in certain jurisdictions; it may not be available for download in your jurisdiction.) If the App is available for use in your jurisdiction, we will send you a link to download it; if theApp is not available for use in your jurisdiction, we will send you an email notifying you when it becomes available. When you register, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and city and state.
Using the App. To use the app, you must download it and then you must provide your email address, name and phone number.
Save Money. If you decide to use the ‘Save Money’ functionality in the app, we may ask you to provide us with more information regarding your expenses and earnings – information on how you have acquired your car and your average weekly earnings is mandatory in order to use this functionality. We use this information to provide you with personalised and best adjusted offers from a variety of sources, to improve and customize ourService.
Device Information. The App collects from you and your mobile device certain data: Location Information. We may use and store information about your location depending on the permissions you have set on your device. We use this information to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service. You can enable or disable location services through your mobile device settings; however, the App will not function unless location services are enabled. We continue collecting data in the background even when the app is not running to provide our service. Device Sensors. We also collect other information from your device sensors, such as accelerometer, and gyroscope. We continue collecting data in the background even when the app is not running to provide our services.We use this information to detect when you start, stop, swerve, change lanes, etc., as well as how fast you are traveling, your route and other trip details. We use this information to provide features of our Service as well as to improve and customize ourService.
Referrals. We may run a referral program where you can earn rewards for referring other users. We will not collect personal details from you of people you referred. However, we will be able to link your referred friend back to you (via your referral code) if s/he does sign up.
User Content. If this Service offers any forums for user comments and feedback (or similar), FarePilot may collect the information that you disclose in using such facilities. Please note that FarePilot cannot control other parties' use of the personal data that you make available to contact you post through the Services. Please be careful about the person al data you disclose in this way.
Boost: If you decide to participate in our Boost Service we will collect your contact details (name, telephone, email, postcode), information about the vehicle your drive and your work attire. We analyse this data to determine if you meet criteria provided to us by third party service providers that are looking for professional drivers like you. If you decide to accept an assignment with one of these third party service operators, we will then collect from them information related to the transport jobs they offer you, the fare values, the dates of the performance of the transport services, and the payment of fares to help determine our commission
Other Information We Collect Automatically. Asset forth in more detail in our Cookies Policy, we also may automatically collect the following information about your use of our Services (including ourApp) through log files, cookies, web beacons, and other technologies: your domain name; your browser type and operating system; page views; links you click; IP address; location information; the length of time you visit ourWebsite and or use our Services; referring URL; access date and time; mobile device ID; location and language information; device name and model; operating system type, name, and version; your activities within the Services; and the length of time that you are logged into our Services. We also collect other technical data such as your location and recorded journeys and vehicle co-ordinates of your computer, tablet or smartphone, details of the pages you have visited on the Website or App, the web browser you use to surf, previous/subsequent sites that you have visited and the length of your visit/session. We use your information, including your personal information, for the following purposes:
Providing Services. To provide our Services to you, including to provide you alerts, reminders and information about current passenger demand areas or upcoming assignments or appointments, to log your trip details, and to communicate with you about your use of our Services.
Customer Service and Relationship Management. If you contact our Customer Service Centre with a question or a complaint, we may ask you for certain information to identify yourself and to help us respond to your enquiry. We use any personal data supplied to improve our customer support services.
Responding to Your Inquiries. To respond appropriately to your questions or complaints, we note details of your question or complaint in our customer database. We may also ask you for contact details in order to keep you informed about your question or complaint.
Developing and Improving our Services and other Products and Services. We regularly conduct market research with our customers through surveys, phone calls and other communications, as well as through analysis of the information we collect through the Services. We also use your responses and feedback for quality assessments and to improve your customer experience. If you choose to participate in providing us feedback, we may process the personal data provided to you (including your name, age, address and email address).
Technical and functional management of the Website and App. When you visit or use the Website or App, we process some technical information about you (such as your IP address, your location as obtained through our App if this is something that you have previously consented to, your recorded journeys on the FarePilot app including your vehicle co-ordinates (if you have consented to collection of your location)) to provide you our Service and to manage them. With this technical information, we are able to manage the Service, for example to resolve technical failures or to improve their reliability.
Surveys and feedback. When you take part in our surveys, user panels or other forms of feedback to us, we may process your personal data provided in the context of such surveys and feedback for the purposes of analysing the feedback, using the feedback for our promotional materials upon your consent and contacting you with respect to such feedback.
Research and Analysis. FarePilot performs research into market trends through statistical analysis. We use the results of such research to evaluate our current products and services and to adapt our products, and marketing to new developments.
Where the processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at anytime. This will not affect the validity of the processing prior to the withdrawal of consent.
Where you choose not to provide us with information set out above for the purposes of using our Services, the only consequence is that it will affect your ability to fully use our Services.
We use different technologies to process your Personal Data. We evaluate the way you use ourServices to improve the predictability and usefulness of our Services, also through the application of algorithms. We may also analyse the data that you have provided and our Services in order to provide you personalised recommendations and suggestions for third party services (upon your use of the ‘Save Money’ feature or in the Service if you have consented to notifications.

You may cancel your account at any time. We may retain a copy of your personal data for a reasonable period of time after that, as part of our business records. However, personal data from closed or deactivated accounts will be deleted or rendered anonymous within a reasonable time period. Under certain circumstances we will retain personal data from closed or deactivated accounts for longer, such circumstances being the prevention of fraud or to otherwise take actions permitted or required by law.
We do not support Do Not Track("DNT") signals. Do Not Track is a preference you can set in your web browser to inform websites that you do not want to be tracked. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for us to process opt-out requests.If you opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us, we may still send you e-mails about your account or any Services you have requested or received from us. Also, please note that if you take advantage of a third party offer that FarePilot has sent to you, that third party may collect certain information from you, subject to their own privacy policies.

The information we collect about you may be transferred to, used from and stored in the UnitedStates or other jurisdictions where FarePilot, its affiliates or its service providers have operations. The privacy laws in these jurisdictions may not guarantee the same or an equivalent level of protection of personal information as the jurisdictions in which you reside; in such cases, the purposes and processing associated with any such transfer will comply with all applicable data protection laws, and with our obligation to adequately protect and secure your personal information. Only persons age 18 or older have permission to access our Service. Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected Personal Information from a child under age13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that information from our servers.
The App is intended for drivers only and should not be used by anyone who is not legally entitled to drive. If you are not legally entitled to drive please do not use the App and /or send us your personal data (for example your name, age, address or email address).
